The Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad on 15th August 2025. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag in the college campus, followed by the singing of the National Anthem by students and staff members, creating a spirit of unity and pride.
As part of the Anti-Ragging Week observance, Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, organized an awareness programme on 14th August 2025. The event was inaugurated with a keynote address by Mr. P. Sivasankaran, Sub-Inspector of Police and SHO, Koppam, who delivered an insightful session highlighting the dangers of ragging and addressing the concerns of students. The programme was presided over by Dr. M. P. Narayanunni, Principal of the college, who reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive campus environment. Mrs. Rajitha, Anti-Ragging Convenor, spoke on the serious consequences of ragging incidents in various colleges, while Mr. Kunchimoideen P., Vice Principal, briefed the students on the activities of the Anti-Ragging Cell planned for the academic year.
