Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme 2025

 

As part of the Anti-Ragging Week observance, Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, organized an awareness programme on 14th August 2025. The event was inaugurated with a keynote address by Mr. P. Sivasankaran, Sub-Inspector of Police and SHO, Koppam, who delivered an insightful session highlighting the dangers of ragging and addressing the concerns of students. The programme was presided over by Dr. M. P. Narayanunni, Principal of the college, who reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive campus environment. Mrs. Rajitha, Anti-Ragging Convenor, spoke on the serious consequences of ragging incidents in various colleges, while Mr. Kunchimoideen P., Vice Principal, briefed the students on the activities of the Anti-Ragging Cell planned for the academic year.

The function also featured Mr. Sudheeh P., Assistant Professor, who offered felicitations, and a powerful speech on ragging by Parthan A. S., Student Convenor of the Anti-Ragging Cell. A heartfelt vote of thanks was proposed by Sooraj C., student member of the Anti-Ragging Cell, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries and participants. The programme concluded with a vibrant flash mob organized by B.Ed trainees, which creatively conveyed the message of standing united against ragging and bullying.
