Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad celebrated National Mathematics Day in memory of Srinivasa Ramanujan by organizing a Teaching–Learning Materials Exhibition on 23 December 2025. The programme aimed to highlight the importance of mathematics in education and to encourage innovative pedagogical practices among student teachers.
The programme was inaugurated with a keynote address by Dr. M. P. Narayananunni, Principal, who emphasized the relevance of mathematics in developing logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity. The exhibition showcased a variety of innovative and low-cost teaching–learning materials prepared by student teachers, demonstrating effective strategies for making mathematics learning engaging and learner-friendly. The programme successfully enhanced pedagogical skills and reinforced the institution’s commitment to quality teacher education.
