Two-day workshop on Teaching Aid Preparation

 Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, in association with its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized a two-day workshop on Teaching Aid Preparation on the 25th and 26th of March, 2025. The program was designed to empower teacher trainees with the knowledge and skills required to create innovative and effective teaching aids.

The resource person for the workshop was Mr. T. Prasad, Headmaster of N N U P School, Karalmanna, Cherpulassery, and a respected member of the State Resource Group. With his extensive experience in the field of education, Mr. Prasad provided valuable insights into the principles of teaching aid design and their practical applications in the classroom.

Program on Personality and Narcotic Abuse

 

As part of its commitment to holistic student development and social responsibility, Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Anti-Drug Wing, organized a thought-provoking session titled “Personality and Narcotic Abuse” on 20th March 2025 at 10:00 AM.

Salafia Training College celebrated its College Day on February 14, 2025, along with the inauguration of its Arts Club, Kalika. *Principal Dr. Muhammed Mustafa* presided over the event, featuring *Beena R. Chandran* and *Fazil Razak* from the Malayalam film industry.  

*Fazil Razak* inaugurated the College Day, while *Beena R. Chandran* launched the Arts Club and entertained the audience with mimicry. The college honored *Haritha, a current student, who was also part of the award-winning movie *Tadavu. Faculty members highlighted the role of arts in education.  

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by *Ashiq Abdul Jabbar, marking the beginning of a creative journey with *Kalika.

 

NAAC Meeting

Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, conducted a NAAC meeting on 2nd December 2024. The session aimed to discuss and review various aspects related to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation process. Faculty members and stakeholders actively participated in the meeting, focusing on quality enhancement, documentation, and compliance with NAAC criteria. The discussions emphasized strategies for institutional development, maintaining academic standards, and preparing for the accreditation process. The meeting reflected the college's commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in education.

 The Convocation Ceremony

 The Convocation Ceremony for the graduating batch of 2024 was held at Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, on October 23, 2024. The event marked a significant milestone in the lives of the students, celebrating their academic accomplishments and equipping them for future endeavors.

The ceremony was inaugurated by the esteemed chief guest, Sri. Irshad IRS, Deputy Director of Income Tax Investigation (Northern Region). His inspiring address emphasized the importance of hard work, perseverance, and integrity in achieving professional and personal success. He also shared valuable insights from his experiences in public service, motivating the graduates to contribute meaningfully to society.

The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the Principal’s welcome address. The Principal congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to uphold the values instilled during their time at the college.
