Two-day workshop on Teaching Aid Preparation

 Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, in association with its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized a two-day workshop on Teaching Aid Preparation on the 25th and 26th of March, 2025. The program was designed to empower teacher trainees with the knowledge and skills required to create innovative and effective teaching aids.

The resource person for the workshop was Mr. T. Prasad, Headmaster of N N U P School, Karalmanna, Cherpulassery, and a respected member of the State Resource Group. With his extensive experience in the field of education, Mr. Prasad provided valuable insights into the principles of teaching aid design and their practical applications in the classroom.

The sessions were highly interactive, encouraging students to learn, create, and inspire through hands-on activities. Participants were introduced to various types of teaching aids, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic tools, and were guided through the process of planning, designing, and presenting their own aids. Emphasis was placed on low-cost and eco-friendly materials, promoting sustainability in educational practices.

The workshop also served as a platform for collaborative learning, fostering creativity and innovation among the teacher trainees. The participants appreciated the opportunity to enhance their pedagogical skills and expressed confidence in implementing the learned techniques in their future teaching careers.

The event was inaugurated under the leadership of Dr. P. Mohammed Musthafa, Principal of the college, and coordinated by Mr. P. Kunhimoideen, the IQAC Coordinator. Their combined efforts ensured the smooth and effective execution of the program.
