As part of its commitment to holistic student development and social responsibility, Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Anti-Drug Wing, organized a thought-provoking session titled “Personality and Narcotic Abuse” on 20th March 2025 at 10:00 AM.
The resource person for the session was Mr. Frenet Francis, Civil Excise Officer, who delivered a powerful and insightful address on the psychological and social dimensions of drug abuse. The session underscored the importance of early identification, peer support, and legal awareness in combating substance abuse, especially among youth.
Students and faculty actively participated in the session, raising questions and sharing reflections that enhanced the interactive nature of the program. The talk was particularly beneficial for teacher trainees, equipping them with knowledge and strategies to support anti-drug awareness in educational settings.
The program was coordinated under the leadership of Dr. P. Mohammed Musthafa, Principal; Mr. Kunhimoideen P, IQAC Coordinator; and Ms. Rajitha NK, Anti-Drug Wing Convener.
