Awareness Programme on “Different Abilities, Equal Dignity"

Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, in collaboration with the IQAC, organized an awareness programme titled “Different Abilities, Equal Dignity” on 03 December 2025, in connection with World Disability Day. The programme aimed to sensitize teacher trainees towards inclusivity, empathy, and respect for persons with different abilities.

The session was led by the resource persons Mr. Kabbab T.K. and Mr. Shuhaib, who shared insightful perspectives on understanding disabilities, promoting equal opportunities, and fostering dignity and social acceptance. The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. M. P. Narayananunni, Principal, with coordination by Mr. Kunhimoideen P., IQAC Coordinator, and Mrs. Rajitha N.K., Coordinator. The programme effectively enhanced students’ awareness and reinforced the institution’s commitment to inclusive education and social responsibility.
