Positive Parenting Programme





The AMLP School Naduvattam Kizhumuri launched a session on “Positive Parenting” in collaboration with Salafiyya Training College Karinganad. Its aim was to foster a supportive and responsive style of parenting that is beneficial for the development of a child. This took place on February 12, 2025, at 2 PM. Dr. P. Mohammed Musthafa, Principal of Salafiyya Training College Karinganad, presented useful techniques of parenting as the resource person in the event. The lecture was coordinated by Mr. P. Kunhimoideen (IQAC Co-ordinator) and Mrs. Bindu C (Co-ordinator) and with initiative from Omana P, Head Mistress of AMLP School. The participants of the sessions were most parents, teachers and students willing to learn how to build a more trustful and protective relationship with kids, which was the aim of this positive school parenting program. The elementary goal of the event was to enable the participants to appreciate the understanding of family relationships and their impact on children’s well-being on a greater scale.

The Art & Craft Workshop, organized by Salafiyya Training College Karinganad in collaboration with A M L P School Naduvattam, Kizhumuri, was held on March 19, 2025 (Wednesday) at A M L P School, Kizhumuri. The event aimed to encourage creativity among students through various art and craft activities, guided by inspiring student teachers.The program commenced with a welcome speech by Sabira teacher, who warmly greeted the attendees and introduced the significance of art and craft in education. She emphasized how such workshops help in enhancing creativity and imagination among young learners.The official inauguration of the workshop was done by Mrs. Omana P, the Headmistress of A M L P School. In her inaugural address, she highlighted the importance of hands-on creative activities in child development and encouraged students to participate actively.Following the inauguration, Mrs. Bindu C (Convener) and Mr. P. Kunhimoideen (IQAC Coordinator) addressed the gathering. They appreciated the efforts of the student teachers in organizing the event and stressed the role of creative arts in fostering innovation and problem-solving skills in students.The workshop was led by Lakshmi Priya U, Shaheena K T, Sneha K P, and Fathima Ansha K, who guided students through various art and craft activities. The enthusiastic participation of students made the event a grand success.The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, student teachers, and participants for making the workshop a meaningful and engaging experience.

Report on School Adoption and Beautification Initiative

 






As part of our innovative program, the B.Ed students adopted AMLPS School, Keezhmuri , with the aim of enhancing the school environment and making learning more engaging for students. From March 12 to 14, we carried out a painting initiative to beautify the school premises. The walls were painted with educational themes such as alphabets, numbers, and motivational messages, making the classrooms more vibrant and interactive. The exterior of the school was also given a fresh coat of paint to improve its overall appearance.

 

Students actively participated in creative art activities, fostering a sense of pride and connection to their school. Teachers, parents, and community members supported the initiative and appreciated the efforts to create a more inspiring learning atmosphere. This program successfully contributed to improving the school environment, and we look forward to continuing such efforts in the future.
