The Convocation Ceremony

 The Convocation Ceremony for the graduating batch of 2024 was held at Salafiyya Training College, Karinganad, on October 23, 2024. The event marked a significant milestone in the lives of the students, celebrating their academic accomplishments and equipping them for future endeavors.

The ceremony was inaugurated by the esteemed chief guest, Sri. Irshad IRS, Deputy Director of Income Tax Investigation (Northern Region). His inspiring address emphasized the importance of hard work, perseverance, and integrity in achieving professional and personal success. He also shared valuable insights from his experiences in public service, motivating the graduates to contribute meaningfully to society.

The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the Principal’s welcome address. The Principal congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to uphold the values instilled during their time at the college.

 

Anganwadi visit

    On November 1, 2024, in celebration of Kerala Piravi Day, the students of Salafiyya Training College , Karinganad visited the Anganwadi adopted by our institution. This day also marked the opening ceremony under the guidance of anganwadi teachers .A prayer session was held by , ankanavadi teacher, Mrs.Reena. It was followed by pledge. Mrs . Reena teacher delivered welcome address, Our chief guest Neeladi Sudhakaran shared keynotes about the providing services of ankanavadi and it's importance in society by sharing heart felt experiences. Representing the college, student Shamna PK also addressed the gathering. She focused on parenting way which we follow up in families and it's consequences.

  University Election 2024

    On 10/10/2024, Thursday all colleges under University of Calicut went through the election for the academic year 2024-2025. As a part of it, the election was conducted in the institution. With very much excitement, Students have casted their votes to different positions.

 Faculty Exchange Programme

Salafiyya Training College Karinganad signed a memorandum of understanding with Salafiyya Arabic College Karinganad for Faculty Exchange Programme for leading to the overall development and academic well- being of the students . As a part of this Faculty Exchange Programme in collaboration with Salafiyya Training College Karinganad a session was organized for the students. MS JUMAILA ( IT FACULTY SALAFIYYA ARABIC COLLEGE) led the session based on the topic ‘BASIC AWARENESS OF ICT on 12- 09-2024 at 11: AM. She addressed the topic very well and also highlighted the importance of ICT in the present academic scenario. She led an informative session based on this topic. She highlights the need of learning ICT in this digital era. She added the importance of knowing basic ideas about ICT for students. She also states the importance of adding ICT in our present curriculum.

 Faculty Exchange Programme

Salafiyya Arabic College Karinganad signed a memorandum of understanding with Salafiyya Training College Karinganad for Faculty Exchange Programme for leading to the overall development and academic well-being of the students especially the girl students. As a part of this Faculty Exchange Programme in collaboration with Salafiyya Arabic College Karinganad a session was organized for the girl students. MS Bindu.C ( Asst.Prof STC) led the class based on the topic ‘Way To Success - Research awareness Programme on 27- 08-2024 at 11: AM. She addressed the topic very well and also highlighted the importance of research in academics. She also motivates the students very well and also provides detailed descriptions about various steps in research. This session aims to educate students about the importance of research in the future. She also provides an overview about the structure of research and she provides a detailed description about research grants and fellowships. The session ended with a felicitation and feedback session

FACULTY EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

As a part of this Faculty Exchange Programme in collaboration with Salafiyya Training College Karinganad a session was organized for first year degree students.

Dr.Narayananunni MP(Research officer SCERT) led a session based on the topic‘Creative Classroom on 05- 12-2023 at 10:: AM. He addressed the topic very welland also highlighted the importance of creative classrooms in the present academicscenario.He also emphasized the importance of constructive methods of learning and he highlighted its benefits. He pointed out that only creative minds are more productive and progressive. He vividly elaborate various steps for making the classroom more creative and productive.His way of interaction facilitated the session and students showed their immense pleasure for acquiring such a fruitful session.Overall it is an informative and yet motivating one. The session winds up with a feedback session and felicitations.
